I�m interested in the use of geographic information by non-expert users and how it is possible to limit the cases of misuse of geographic information. I'm also generally interested in the applications of GISciences to the marine environment. Before coming to Memorial my post-doctorate was on the international standards in the field of geographic information sciences (ISO TC211 and OGC). I am associate researcher at the Centre of Research in Geomatics (CRG), cross-appointed with the department of Earth Sciences at Memorial University and adjunct professor at the Department of Geomatics Sciences of Laval University (Quebec). I am also Marine Geomatics Editor for the journal Geomatica.
