Bio/Research

Roy joined Toronto Metropolitan University in 1984. He has taught a wide range of courses over the years. He has lived and worked in several countries and has had a diverse career working in many industries. Early in his career, Roy was responsible for the design and construction of highways, bridges, and other structures. He then moved into Project Management and Business Management. At Toronto Metropolitan University he has been a Member or Chair of many committees, and has been involved in a wide range of activities. He was Chair of the Marketing Department and Interim Director of the School of Retail Management. For 20 years he was a Lecturer (part-time) at The University of Toronto teaching courses in the MBA, MMPA, and B.Com. programs. He also taught a course in the MBA Program at the Ivey Business School, Western University. Roy’s interests include the voluntary and non-profit sector where he has held numerous senior positions in a wide range of organizations. His interests are broad and focus primarily on Services Industries, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Sales and Sales Management.
