SAUNDRA K. SCHNEIDER is Professor and Director of the Master's of Public Policy Program in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University. She is also a member of the Instructional Staff at the ICPSR Summer Training Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research at the University of Michigan.
Professor Schneider joined the faculty at Michigan State University in 2003. Prior to that, she held academic positions at the University of South Carolina, the Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also held several administrative positions before arriving at MSU. She served as the Director of the Master's of Public Administration and the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Government and International Studies at the University of South Carolina, the Program Evaluation Administrator for the Ohio Department of Human Services, and the Health Planning Administrator for the Ohio Department of Health. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science, with a concentration in public policy analysis and evaluation, from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1980.
