Bio/Research

Scott MacKenzie was born in Opotiki, New Zealand, and raised on the North Island. He attended Canterbury University in Christchurch, where he received a B.A. with Honours in English, and received his Ph.D., with a specialisation in 18th century and Romantic literature, from Cornell University. He has taught in New Hampshire, Texas, Alabama, and North Carolina, and is very happy to have washed ashore in Vancouver.
