Sima Godfrey lectures regularly in Canada, France and the United States. Her research interests are wide ranging, from Baudelaire and 19th- century French art history to French fashion and architecture. She has published widely on 19th-century French authors such as Balzac, Baudelaire, Flaubert, Mallarmé, Maupassant, Nodier, and others. Locally, she lectures at the Vancouver International Song Institute, the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the Arts Club Theatre.
