Dr. Simon Davidson is a child, adolescent and family psychiatrist.
At the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), he is the Medical Director of the Mental Health Patient Service Unit, the Regional Chief of the Specialized Psychiatric and Mental Health Services for Children and Youth (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)/Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre (ROMHC)) as well as the Chief Strategic Planning Executive of The Provincial Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health at CHEO. At the University of Ottawa, he is Professor and Chair of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
He is the Chair of the Child and Youth Advisory Committee for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Dr. Davidson is a passionate advocate for children and youth and ensuring appropriate mental health services for them. In this capacity he is active at all levels of government.
