Stacy Scholder, an Emmy award-winning television news producer, is one of two faculty advisors who run Annenberg TV News.
Before joining USC in January 2007, Scholder worked as a broadcast journalist for more than 20 years in Los Angeles and New England. Most recently she was a producer at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. She also worked as an executive producer at KNBC-TV in Los Angeles where she launched a special projects unit and managed the station’s top-rated 11pm newscast. Scholder began her television news career at WLNE-TV in Providence, Rhode Island and then went on to work as a news producer in Boston at WCVB-TV.
As a producer, Scholder has won two Emmys, two Golden Mikes, and the Associated Press Award for best newscast.
Scholder received her undergraduate degree in economics and French from Tufts University.
