My research interests revolve around the language, writings and texts of the New Testament, and how they are interpreted. This takes me into the language and linguistic issues of the Greek of the New Testament and Hellenistic worlds, especially as this can be examined through the lens of modern discourse analytical and hermeneutical methods. In conjunction, I also have a keen interest in the actual manuscripts that reflect the growth and development of the New Testament and related textual tradition. Finally, a number of the biblical authors continue to fascinate me, and provide focus for some of my research interests, including John, Luke, but especially Paul.
