Bio/Research

Stephanie Schroeder is an Associate Professor in the Biology Department at Webster University. She teaches courses in biochemistry, genetics, virology and biology. Her areas of research include the effects of isoflavones on breast and ovarian cancers, effects of synthetic and natural estrogens on bacterial growth and the examination of potential antimicrobial agents. Schroeder received a BS in biochemistry from Purdue University, she has a PhD in molecular physiology and biophysics from Vanderbilt University and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in in the department of biochemistry and molecular genetics at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.
