Dr. Rosenberg is starting his fourth year as a full-time faculty member in the School of Education at the University of Bridgeport. Before that he was an adjunct instructor in the School of Education at Manhattanville College for ten years. Dr. Rosenberg has taught in public school systems in New York City, York Region, Ontario and Greenwich, CT for forty-four years as a regular and special education teacher, and literacy specialist.
Dr. Rosenberg has extensive expertise, training, and experience helping students with dyslexia (children and adults) learn how to read and write. He has also worked extensively with normally developing readers and writers at the elementary and middle school level.
Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the International Dyslexia Society and the International Reading Association. He has presented at numerous professional conferences and school systems in the United States and Canada. His main interest is in the beginning stages of reading and writing for normally developing and struggling students.
