Steven B. Wolinetz is a Professor of Political Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland and a long-time student of political parties and European politics. Recent works include edited volumes on Political Parties and Party Systems, (published as part of the Dartmouth International Library of Politics and Comparative Politics), as well articles on the party systems of consociational democracies and Dutch corporatism. He is currently working on book, Why Parties Differ , comparing political parties in Europe and North America.
