Bio/Research

Dr. Saha’s research interests include employment equality agendas in Canada, Australia, Ireland, and India; international comparisons of human resource decision-making (targeted countries: Canada, Ireland, and Australia); leadership and team behaviour in work teams; and job stress in Hong Kong and China. Over the past three decades, Dr Saha has conducted many research projects in collaboration with scholars from Canada, Ireland, Australia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, Hong Kong and India.

Dr. Saha has a vast amount of international teaching experience. He has taught at Rajshahi University (Bangladesh), University of British Columbia, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lahore University of Management Sciences (Pakistan), Czech Management Center (Czech Republic), and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (India). He joined Memorial in 1980 as an assistant professor with the Faculty of Business. Dr. Saha has also worked temporarily for the Federal Government of Canada in the Employment and Training division. He has delivered management development seminars to thousands of managers from Canada and overseas in the subject areas of leadership, motivation, team behaviour, managing and adapting to change, problem solving and decision-making. Dr. Saha is a frequent participant in many national and international conferences organized by learned societies around the world.
