Bio/Research

Susan Knabe is an Assistant Professor in both the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario. Her research interests include the construction of gender and sexuality in discourses of health and disease as well as the representation of gender, sexuality, race and ethnicity in film and media. My recent publications include a co-edited special issue of the journal _Extrapolation_ on the works of Geoff Ryman, as well as a number of articles.
