Professor Price came to the University of Bridgeport in 2011 following 15 years as a research scientist at Yale University and several years of teaching. He has been primarily involved with implementation of the undergraduate health sciences program, specifically directing development of the Exercise & Fitness track. Dr. Price's research involves human skeletal muscle physiology and skeletal muscle activity patterns, with a specific interest in how muscles store energy and how this is affected by lifestyle and disease. He has published over 50 articles in this area. He currently serves the university in capacities that include the Faculty Senate and the University Institutional Review Board.
