Bio/Research
I am an Assistant Professor and Tier II Canada Research Chair in Proteomics at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Our research group investigates structure-activity relationships in proteins using solution and solid-state NMR, molecular dynamics simulations, and other biophysical techniques. This research draws from a variety of disciplines. In addition to my colleagues in Biochemistry, I work with researchers in Physics and the Faculty of Medicine, and with private companies, such as NewLab Clinical Research. Applications from interested potential undergrads, grad students, and postdocs are always welcome (it's helpful if you send a CV with your inquiry).
