Dr. Lee's research focuses on how risk and uncertainty affect the decision and welfare outcomes of consumers, producers, and households. She uses tools of experimental and behavioural economics to answer her research questions and has designed and conducted lab experiments in the U.S. as well as field experiments in Peru.
Lee's research addresses issues related to uncertainty in food prices and its impact on various welfare outcomes, such as migration, agricultural production, and food insecurity. In the future, Lee hopes to expand her research to address issues in food consumption and obesity, and the roles of policy measures and agribusinesses in helping individuals make better food choices.
