Bio/Research

Zine-Eddine ABID received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, in 1987 and 1991 respectively. He was a Research Associate and Lecturer at the University of Minnesota during 1991/1992. He worked at National Research Council (NRC), Ottawa, on the fabrication, design, and characterization of high frequency III-V Heterostructure Bipolar Transistors (HBTs). He joined Nortel networks in 1995, to work on GaAs HBTs processing for high frequency integrated circuits. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA. In September 2002, He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Ontario.
